World University Rankings - QS World University Rankings 2023

The results of the QS World University Rankings 2023 have been released, featuring more than 1,400 universities from around the world. This year's list, which is our largest university ranking, includes universities from 100 countries, with the United States, the United Kingdom and mainland China being the most heavily represented. Among them were 13 universities from Poland.
The QS WUR ranking has been published since 2014. It is created based on the calculation of the following criteria :

  • academic opinion (40%),
  • opinion about employed graduates (10%),
  • student/lecturer ratio (20%),
  • number of citations of scientific staff publications (20%),
  • degree of internationalization of the faculty and students (10%).

The QS WUR ranking is a statement in which some of the universities are assigned specific positions. In the ranking detailed positions have universities from 1 to 400 places. The scores of universities with places above 400 are given in groups of 10, 50 or 100.
It is worth noting that the QS WUR ranking presents data for the year ahead, as in many countries around the world, enrollments end in June, so the results are prepared for next year's enrollment.
