European Business school rankings 2011

December 5, 2011, "Financial Times" published "European Business Schools Ranking 2011", which was the last of the eight educational FT rankings announced every year by the FT. The winner of this year's ranking is HEC Paris (France) - invariably from 3 years in a row in the first place. Second place is occupied by the London Business School (UK), and the third by INSEAD (France).

Two Polish universities were listed among the 75 best business schools in Europe. One of them was Kozminski Acedemy - 60th place (47th in 2010 and 42th in 2009). The other - Warsaw School of Economics - 67th place (first year in the ranking). Only one more school among the business schools of Central and Eastern Europe was listed - the University of Economics in Prague (70th place).

European Business Schools ranking has already been published by Financial Times for 8 years in a row. The position of a program in the European Business Schools Ranking is created by  its positions in four other rankings (FT Global MBA, Executive MBA, Masters in Management, Executive Education) and by other criteria such as: earnings of graduates, an increase in their wages in three years after graduation, the proportion of women among students, the percentage of foreign lecturers and the percentage of staff with a doctoral degree.
