A Pole on the board of EFMD and EFMD Global Network- organizations associating nearly 1000 universities of economics and companies from around the world.
Andrzej Popadiuk, President of Gdanska Fundacja Ksztalcenia Menedzerów, became a member of the Board of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and EFMD Global Network - organizations associating over 900 universities, business schools, institutions and companies from 91 countries around the world. Andrzej Popadiuk's nomination was announced at the June annual conference EFMD 2019 in Lisbon. 

Participation in the EFMD and EFMD Global Network Management is one of the most prestigious functions in the management training sector in Europe and in the world. EFMD awards international accreditations and certifications of EQUIS, EPAS, CLIP and EDAF to business schools, corporate universities and curricula, confirming the highest quality of education and meeting the educational standards required in the global market of managerial education. Many Polish universities and educational programs apply for their award. EFMD and EFMD Global Network are also a forum for debate on trends in global business, exchange of experience and best practices in managerial education, innovation and modern methodologies in management teaching. EFMD is headquartered in Brussels, EFMD Global Network has a headquarters in Geneva and offices in Asia and North and South America. 

Being in a group of outstanding representatives of managerial education, rectors of leading business schools, recognized authorities of knowledge about management is a great distinction, but also a commitment. For me, this means, on the one hand, taking steps to improve managerial education, which should, to a much greater extent than before, indicate future scenarios, prepare for action in a dynamic reality, and draw inspiration and disseminate the best solutions from all over the world, bringing universities with management practice. On the other hand, participation in the EFMD authorities, the largest and most important organization of business schools in Europe, gives even more opportunities to promote Polish universities in the global educational environment, which may translate into implementation of new international projects - says Andrzej Popadiuk.

Andrzej Popadiuk is the President of the Management Board of Gdanska Fundacja Ksztalcenia Menedzerów and the president of the FORUM Management Education Association, member of the Accreditation Board of EPAS (European Program of Accreditation System), EQUAL Board (European Quality Link), setting quality standards and ethics of managerial education, and an expert of accreditation teams certifying managerial programs in Europe and in the world. He holds the Executive MBA diploma of Strathclyde University Glasgow and the diploma of Personnel Manager of Postgraduate Studies in Personnel Management at the University of Gdansk. He is an experienced business trainer, a management mentor, a coach with an international ICC certificate.
